Mother Fucker!

|

Yes, that title is what I uttered when I encountered some browser stupidity. I had just hit the post button to submit a comment on Justin Kirby's blog when I neglected a field in the form and was forced to back track. Then Firefox's stupidity hit me. It did NOT store my comment!! Resulting in "mother fucker!" getting uttered.

So whose fault is this? The parties involved were me, the blog, and the browser.

Part of the blame is on me since I failed to fill out the email field, but the blog should have told me that it was required. It could also have reshown the form populated with my post telling me that I needed to fill it out.

But there's the browser too. I'm sure a number of sites and people back track while filling out forms. Could it be that hard to remember what I punched into one?

So I'm placing the blame on this on the browser for not remembering the page's state when I went back to it. WordPress could have helped which would have been 10 times nicer, but I'm blaming the browser for not doing what I expected.
