So I came across the Project For a New American Century reading some random comments on Slashdot. The first article I decide to read is the CFR Report on Iran. It's essentially a bullet list of why Iran is evil. One of the items is this:
Iran apparently has had and continues to have a working relationship with bin Laden's al Qaeda. Indeed, if the 9-11 commission report is accurate, Tehran might well have been involved in both the 1996 Khobar Towers attack and in 9-11. Furthermore, Iran today harbors senior al-Qaeda leaders.
If that's true then I have to ask, which goes along with a conclusion I've had for a while, why would bin Laden be hiding along the Pakistani border? Shouldn't he be home with his wifes and taking care of some maritial responsibilities?
I suppose the bigger question would be: why are we only looking bin Laden along the Pakistani border?
