Disconnected

Oh, my luck.

I tried to get online last night about a hundred times without success. It turns out that IUPUI disabled 60,000 accounts yesterday, and mine was one. I've been using IUPUI's dial-up to get online for at least the past two years. Now I'm without the Internets.

I'm at the library now having the worst Internet experience ever. I can't download PuTTY or even make use of my USB memory stick. The start menu doesn't even work. I did find a Java SSH client, MindTerm which let me check my mail.

It still remains how I'm going to get back online, so I can continue with my addiction to information. I think that's finally making myself get a low paying job without any opportunity for advancement which is what I'm trying to do today. On the bright side, it should result in an Internet connection upgrade to at least DSL and most likely cable. I'll also have way to much time on my hands to program.

I'll try to check my email and whatnot whenever I can, but I probably won't have access to GMane so I won't be able to post to any mailing lists (did I say the library's computer setup sucks?). Hopefully my other obligations won't pass me by. My phone number is on my resumé, so if any JSF members see this you can give me notice of any meetings. I guess a web based client will work here at the lib.

hey

that sucks that you got disconnected but I am actually surprised it worked this long. You need to hurry up and get another internet connection so I can bug you about linux shit because I just installed Fedora Core 3.

That sucks, but I can't belie

That sucks, but I can't believe that account stayed active for as long as it did though. Panera bread has free WiFi internet access, and good food, but I don't think they would like you bringing in a desktop computer though.
